Lil Durk Proposes To Longtime Girlfriend India Royale
Rapper Lil Durk has shared plenty of moments of displaying his love and appreciation for his longtime girlfriend, India Royale. But he turned it up a notch in their hometown of Chicago, proposing in front of a packed arena.
On Saturday night (Dec. 18), Durk, 29, performed at a local radio station’s Big Jam concert at the United Center, according to TMZ.
It’s not uncommon for Durk to bring India, 26, out on stage during his performances. In the video, he directs her to walk away for a second, as he then drops to his one knee to propose. The arena erupted in cheers and screams, leaving the majority of the audio inaudible.
“Will you be my wife,” he asked before putting the mic up to her face and her replying “yes.” As they hugged and kissed, with people surrounding them, the live band continued to play.
The couple began dating back in 2017. In 2018, India gave birth to her second child, the couple’s first, Willow Banks.
Durk’s affection for India has been displayed on social media, but more vocally, on his songs. More recently, he shouted out her business, India Royale Cosmetics, on a song with Drake.
