'Never Give Up Hope': Gabrielle Union's 'Miracle Baby' Is Her #WCW And Her Post Will Have You Teary Eyed

After pregnancy complications, Union has a lot to be thankful for.

It's no secret that Gabrielle Union has experienced complications with pregnancy.

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” Gabrielle revealed in her autobiography, We're Going to Need More Wine, which was released late last year. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I've either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

Fortunately, Gabrielle and her husband, Dwayne Wade just welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world two weeks ago!

Drifting on the cloud since announcing that their adorable “miracle baby”, Kaavia James Union Wade, arrived via surrogate on November 7, we’ve been happily enjoying the 46-year-old actress’ journey as a mother via Instagram.

Blessed with all the triumphs and troubles of being a first-time mom, Gabrielle has been documenting her day to day and on Wednesday (Nov. 21), she decided to make her daughter her #WCW!

See her inspiring message:

“So no money down you say? I'm listening...,” Gabrielle jokingly began the photo's caption of her baby girl relaxing in a white onesie with a serious facial expression.

“Today's #WCW is @kaaviajames. This little dynamo reminds me to never give up on my dreams. Never give up hope and never think you are alone. Many people are suffering in silence in plain sight. They are screaming and nothing is coming out. Let us all remember to keep our eyes, minds, and hearts open to one another and for ourselves as well.”

She continued, “To anyone suffering and losing hope, let us all lift you up in the light of goodness and hold you there. You are loved, heard and seen.”

Preach! We are so happy for the couple and we cannot wait for the Oprah TV special, Oprah At Home With Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade & Their New Baby which will air Saturday, December 8 at 8pm ET/PT on OWN.
