Michael Jackson's Chef Testifies in Conrad Murray Trial
Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, shouted for security as well as the singer's son, but declined to call 911 in the minutes after Jackson stopped breathing, according to recent testimony in Murray's ongoing trial.
Jackson's chef, Kai Chase, said the doctor interrupted her while she was preparing a meal "flustered" and "screaming."
“He said, ‘Go get help. Go get security. Go get Prince,’” she testified, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Chase said she was never asked to call 911, and the prosecution noted that Murray waited another 10 minutes before having Jackson's security guard, Alberto Alvarez, make the call. All in all, the ambulance request was delayed by half an hour, they alleged.
Murray is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter. If found guilty, he could serve up to four years in prison.
