Report: Tekashi 6ix9ine Is Changing Up His Story About His Assault After Talking To Police
Previously, we reported about Tekashi 6ix9ine’s hospitalization after reportedly being beaten and robbed by unknown assailants.
Now, the circumstances surrounding the Brooklyn native’s horrific ordeal are changing. The initial story about the violent incident was told to TMZ by people close to Tekashi, but now, 6ix9ine himself is telling police a different story.
TMZ now says the rapper was sitting in the passenger seat of a Chevy Tahoe during a red light when a car bumped them from behind. It was then that two armed men hopped out, stole the driver’s iPhone and dragged Tekashi to their car and sped off.
Instead of meeting him at his home, which was described in his initial story, the men drove him to his home and forced him to call someone inside, which they believe is his baby’s mother, to bring out his jewelry. Before more happened 6ix9ine says he escaped and managed to call police.
Tekashi has also decided to be uncooperative with the police investigation surrounding his assault and robbery, according to TMZ. He remains in the hospital and is expected to be ok.
Soooo… which story is it? Both are unfortunate. It’ll be interesting to hear from Tekashi directly if he chooses to explain what happened once he leaves the hospital.
