Eminem Plans Eighth Album for 2013

Slim Shady teases prospect of releasing first album since 2010's Recovery.

Eminem has been stirring up the hip hop world since 1996, and now he's preparing to return to the game with his eighth studio album. The Detroit icon broke the news via a commemorative cap on his website, with each of the years that he's released an album delineated on the side under the banner "World Champion." An extra date is included for the year 2013.
Eminem hasn't released an album since 2010's Recovery, which debuted to the tune of 741,000 copies sold in the first week and went on to become the best-selling album of that year. His first album was 1996's Infinite, which got the attention of Dr. Dre after being released independently.
The limited edition baseball cap is in the style of the Detroit Tigers, who lost in the World Series last night against the San Francisco Giants. A stylized backward E is emblazoned on the front.
As for more details on the forthcoming Eminem album, the famously private MC is, for the moment, mum.
