21-year-old Braxton Sislo of New Orleans and his long-distance girlfriend, Ray, from Canada met on Twitter
While working at a cellphone store, Braxton saw an empty cell phone box that he thought could be useful for storing things, so he texted a picture to his girlfriend
And her response was weirdly over the top
Braxton wants people to know that this is not a Christmas gift.
“It’s around Christmastime so I guess that’s why people assumed it was a Christmas gift,” he told Buzzfeed News. “I’ve actually bought her things I’m giving her for Christmas."

After seeing how grateful Ray was for such a lackluster present, Braxton shared the exchange on Twitter and people swooned
A few even copied the photo and tried to pass it off on their girlfriends – needless to say, they were unsuccessful
Moral of the story, if you find someone who is happy with an empty box, hold on to them, and never let them go
