Nick Cannon Reveals He Had A Vasectomy Consultation: ‘I Ain't Looking To Populate The Earth Completely’
Nick Cannon is a family man, despite his busy schedule. While chatting with E! News' Daily Pop on May 17, the multi-hyphenate opened up about why he cherishes his relationships with all his children.
The soon-to-be father of eight explained, "I love all my children. I love children. I don't know if I would've designed it this way, but it's one of those things when you're blessed with the gifts of children—and as we all know, I've been through so much, I find solace, I find peace in my children and I find purpose.”
FYI: Cannon is currently expecting his eighth baby with model Brie Tiesi. The talk show host also shares 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 5-year-old son Golden and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; and 11-month-old twins, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa. Zen, Cannon’s 5-month-old son with Alyssa Scott sadly passed away from brain cancer last December.
While chatting with hosts Justin Sylvester and Loni Love, Cannon also revealed that he’s gotten a vasectomy consultation. According to the Mayo Clinic, a vasectomy is a surgical procedure that acts as a form of male birth control.
"I already went and got my vasectomy consultation,” he shared when asked how many children he plans to have. “I ain't looking to populate the Earth completely, but I'm definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have."
Despite his hectic schedule, Cannon went on to explain that he always carves out time to make lasting memories with his offspring—especially through music and art.
"You definitely gonna see some Cannons on the screen and hear their music," he joked. "I'm going to have to recoup some of this. So they gonna be some talented babies."
Cannon says to listen to his new mixtape, Raw & B: The Explicit, for a musical glimpse into his life. The mixtape drops on May 20.
