‘The Black Pack’: Taye Diggs, Ne-Yo And Eric Bellinger Unite To Host Variety Shows On The CW
What does an acclaimed stage star, a Grammy award winning songwriter and an R&B crooner have in common? Ask Taye Diggs, Ne-Yo and Eric Bellinger who have decided to join forces to headline two upcoming variety specials on The CW Network.
The trio will star in The Black Pack: We Three Kings and The Black Pack: Excellence which will highlight Black performers who mirror the style and flow of the original Rat Pack from the 1960s, Deadline reports.
We Three Kings premieres on Nov. 29 and features singers Tank, Sevyn Streeter, and Jordin Sparks and All American’s Bre-Z. Fans will enjoy classic Christmas music, stellar comedy and gorgeous dance numbers as part of the show’s entertainment lineup.
But that’s not all! In 2022, The Black Pack will return to tribute late Rat Pack member, the legendary Sammy Davis Jr., for their The Black Pack: Excellence airing in time for Juneteenth (the exact date has yet to be determined). A star-studded list of special guests will join the guys for a night of music, dance, and paying homage to those who paved the way for so many. A new Juneteenth anthem will also be featured.
Diggs is set to executive produce both Black Pack specials.
