Kodak Black Claims Megan Thee Stallion Used His Catchphrase To Make ‘A Whole Career’
He claims he coined “drive the boat.”
Kodak Black is attempting to take credit for Megan Thee Stallion’s success.
The Florida rapper took to Twitter to insinuate that the H-Town Hottie owes him for making a “whole career” off the catchphrase “drive the boat,” which he says he invented.
“Make a whole career off of taking one Lil piece of my shit & I B Coming For My Money,” he tweeted.
This isn’t the first time Kodak claimed he was the first to use the catchphrase. In March 2020, he referred to an interview that aired at the time where Meg was credited as the originator.
“I Really Wanna Go Bad On Lil One but I’m Keepin This S**t Pretty #LetMeDriveTheBoat #FreeTheGoat,” he posted on Instagram under a video of the interview.
