Future Brings Travis Scott On Stage At Miami Rolling Loud Music Festival
Future brought Travis Scott on stage Saturday night (July 23) during his performance at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami. Scott, who was asked to headline the event but couldn’t commit on short notice, ran through at least two of his songs to thunderous applause, TMZ reports.
Video clips of the performance are below.
Scott’s fans were pleasantly surprised by his appearance after there was some confusion about whether the venue had banned him from performing because of the 2021 Astroworld tragedy, in which 10 people died at his concert.
Rolling Stone reported that one of the Miami festival’s founders had rejected the idea of Scott replacing Kanye West after the Donda 2 rapper pulled out of his headline slot. But the festival organizers said co-founder Tariq Cherif spoke out of frustration. The organizers explained that they asked Scott to headline the festival, but it wouldn't work with such short notice.
