Chief Keef to Perform Benefit Concert for Baby Boy Killed in Car Crash

The rapper will appear at the Chicago show via hologram.

Chief Keef is going to attempt to bring some positivity to his city in the wake of a heartbreaking tragedy. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago rapper has announced that he will appear at a concert in Chicago on Friday via hologram to benefit the family of 1-year-old Dillan Harris, who was killed in a car crash on Saturday.
The toddler was run over in his stroller by suspects fleeing the scene after the shooting of Chicago rapper Capo. A 22-year-old a member of Chief Keef’s Glo Gang crew was shot and killed in the brazen broad-daylight attack.
A spokesman for Chief Keef said that the South Side Chicago native ”is just so heartbroken and appalled" by the senseless deaths he wanted to help the family and make a statement about the ”out of control situation."
Due to pending legal issues Keef is unable to perform in-person at the July 17 show, so a hologram image of the hip hop star will be fed in from a sound stage in Los Angeles. The event will be free to the public, but Keef is encouraging everyone to make donations on behalf of the toddler’s family.
Keef also announced the creation of the Stop the Violence Now Foundation, which will aim to help curb the outrageous crime that is currently plaguing Chicago.
