“There’s a lot of love here. There’s a lot of support,” family friend Kelly Southhall said. “No mother should have to go through this.”

Sampson stood 6’4, 325 pounds. On March 24, Sampson was on spring break in Orlando when he fell from the FreeFall drop tower at ICON Park.

Sampson was buried at Oak Grove Memorial Mausoleum in St. Louis. The teen’s death is still under investigation.

Rapper YK Osiris, 23, announced plans on social media that he planned to cover the funeral costs. According to Complex, some family members claim the rapper failed to follow through and accused him of looking for “clout.”

But Osiris pushed back, saying he made a donation.

“It’s a difference doing something from the heart and doing something for clout,” the rapper wrote on his Instagram story.
