Bobby Brown Reveals Details About His New Album
Bobby Brown has over 25 years in the game. But the veteran singer/dancer/entertainer has gone through plenty of ups and downs throughout his career. With his fifth solo album, The Masterpiece, the self-proclaimed "King of the Stage" says that he will prove to people that he is here to stay.
"I'm just hoping that they get the message that I'm an entertainer, I'm here to stay and it's something that was put in me. It wasn't something that I went to school for," he tells allhiphop.com.
Speaking about the album, Brown says that he will also deal with his sobriety in the music. "The Masterpiece is made up of 10 years of my life that I've lived through, from being married to divorced to drug problems that I'm rid of six years and 78 days sober."
Though Brown lost his mother recently, he also touched on the new addition to his family, his grandson. "My oldest son, who is twenty-five, just gave me my first grandchild! So I’m a grandfather, too! Now, I've really got to stay up on my pimpin'. I've really got to stay up on my game."
