Donald Sterling Calls Wife a Pig, Vows to Never Sell Clippers

Banned owner goes on wild rant against Shelly Sterling and NBA during court testimony.

The gloves are off. The love is done.

Banned NBA owner Donald Sterling denounced his wife, Shelly Sterling, and hurled insults at her during his second day of testimony Wednesday in the court battle over the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers.

"Get away from me, you pig!" Sterling yelled at his estranged wife after she followed him to the stand and tried to approach him in the front row of the courtroom.

At separate points of his testimony, Sterling also added: "She deceived me. I trusted her. I never thought a wife wouldn't stand for her husband” and "She has no rights whatsoever. She has no stock. She has no standing whatsoever.”

Infuriated, Sterling also vowed a lifetime of litigation against the NBA if they permit the sale of the Clippers.

"Make no mistake today," Sterling roared. "I will never, ever sell this team, and until I die I will be suing the NBA for this terrible violation under antitrust."

The Sterlings are in court battling over Shelly’s rights under the Sterling Family Trust bylaws to sell the Clippers to ex-Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

NBA owners are scheduled to vote on the Ballmer deal on July 15.

If the sale isn’t completed by September 15, the NBA could seize the team and auction it.
