Rubi Rose Catches Flack For Saying Non-Black People Can Use The N-Word If It’s Not Used In A Malicious Way
Rapper Rubi Rose is catching major heat after saying she gives passes to white people who use the N-word as long as it’s not used in a “malicious” manner.
During her appearance on Adin Ross’ Twitch channel on Monday (August 8th), the rapper mistook the host for a middle eastern man and then a light-skinned man after assuming his hair was curly. The host questioned the rapper after her comments, then proceeded to ask if he would be able to say the N-word.
While other guests proceeded to respond by saying “no,” Rose had a different response and shared she’s “okay” with non-Black people using the term as long as it’s not used in a “rude” way.
She continued, letting the host know he can use the word because he “loves Black people,” has a lot of Black people on his Twitch channel, and probably listens to music by Black artists.
“So, as long as the person isn’t saying it with malicious intent, personally, ’cause I have like Mexican homegirls and white homegirls who be saying it, I don’t care about other people,” she expressed.
“We’re friends and they are cool with it.”
