Rapper Chika Concerns Fans Online Implying She Wants To Harm Herself
Grammy-nominated rapper Chika is worrying her fans over a post she made on social media that implies she wants to take her own life.
The XXL 2020 Freshman Class member posted a lengthy statement that implies she’s on the verge of suicide, writing, in part: "I went to the top of the intercontinental, but could not jump. not because I don't want to, but because the metal stairs were scary," she wrote. "It looks like crying wolf, but it's not. It’s just difficult to find the right way. The quickest way. the painless way. I am tired of myself too."
Furthermore, Chika writes how she believes she’ll serve as a cautionary tale in leaving a person going through immense pain to their own devices. The rapper also relayed that she won’t be sorry for those she might leave behind, saying she refuses to carry the burden of others who refused to help her through the tough times.
Chika has been adding IG Story posts equally concerning, posting messages like, “find my body in st paul idgaf” and “*madison hope ur happy.”
In addition to the long note, TMZ reports that fans have also reached out to the artist for support. Hopefully, those close to her can provide her with what she needs to get her through this difficult time.
