Offset and Wife Cardi B Tease New Single ‘Jealousy’ With Artwork Reveal
Rap couple Offset and Cardi B want the focus to remain on their music.
On Wednesday (July 26), Cardi took to Instagram to tease what appears to be an upcoming collaboration with her husband titled "Jealousy.” In the post, Cardi shared a picture of the single's artwork.
On the single cover, Offset is seen leaning against an old school car, while a visibly annoyed Cardi storms away, sticking her hand in his face.
“Jealousy out Friday…” Cardi captioned the post. She also directed fans to link in her bio where they would be able to stream the song once it drops.
Offset also took to his social media pages to share the news of the coming collab.
"Let's talk about some music! Jealousy out this Friday! Link in bio!" he wrote on his Instagram.
Assumptions are already starting to trickle in about the record's subject matter. Many are speculating that the duo will candidly address recent cheating allegations they have weathered.
Last month, Offset publicly accused his wife of stepping out of their marriage in a since-deleted Instagram post. However, Cardi denied the claims.
Overall, fans seemed eager for the song's release, with many anticipating a verse from the Bronx rapper. One Instagram user expressed their excitement, saying, “I just hope Cardi on the feature cause I be wanting some collab from this two.”
The hip hop duo have a history of collaborating. Back in 2017, they joined forces for "MotorSport," which was featured on Migos' third studio album "Culture II.”
Additionally, Offset and Cardi teamed up again for the Atlanta native's single "Clout," which was from his debut 2019 solo album “Father of 4.”
More recently, Offset made a cameo appearance in the music video for Cardi and Latto's collaborative remix, "Put It On the Floor."
