The 2015 was a hard one for Meek Mill. This year though it seemed like he was getting things on track.

The Philly rapper recently released his “All the Way Up” remix (along with Fabolous) and was scheduled to be off of house arrest on Wednesday (June 1) — that was, until a judge extended it.

TMZ is reporting that Meek will serve eight more days cooped up in his residency because apparently the community service he participated in was not approved by a judge. He was supposed to be helping the homeless, Habitat for Humanity or senior citizens and veterans during his 90 days under house arrest, but instead spent time visiting schools, assisting Flint’s water crisis and delivering motivational speeches.

Meek’s legal team claims the specifics of his community service were too vague even though reports are saying they were clearly outlined in the documents. His lawyers also say their client did spend time at a homeless shelter, however that also didn’t meet the judge’s orders.

The Philadelphia District Attorney's office will reevaluate his community service submission once his volunteer work is completed.
