YG Is Helping Mariah Carey Out in a Major Way After Her Recent Break-Up

When break-up and brazy unite.

In the words of Elbert Hubbard and Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album, "When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade."

Or, in Mariah Carey’s case, you make a collaborative single with Compton gangsta rap heavyweight YG.

As reported by TMZ, the R&B and pop diva has linked with Mr. Brazy himself to whip up a track made specially for the ladies who are nursing their hearts back to health after a breakup.

A source allegedly revealed to the site that the two have both the track and accompanying music video complete, recording the track on Saturday (Jan. 21) and finishing the video only a day later. The visual is also slated for a debut, TMZ alleges, during the season finale episode of the songstress’s Mariah’s World reality show over the weekend.

The “We Belong Together” singer split from her former billionaire fiancé James Packer in October 2016, revealing that she was completely blindsided by the breakup. In fact, Us Weekly reported, she had the misfortune of finding out that he wanted to part ways in Australia’s Woman’s Day publication versus Packer presenting the news to her personally. When she decided to speak on the breakup publicly for the first time on the Ellen show with Ellen DeGeneres, she expressed that it had been difficult for her to talk about and shifted the conversation away from the touchy subject.

Now, after TMZ caught up with a smiling Mimi and YG as they left Catch in New York while reportedly celebrating their successful collaboration, she’s turning that difficulty into dollars.

Check out a photo of the pair leaving Catch and YG's Snapchat video from Mimi's crib the night before in the video below.
