Say What? 50 Cent Was Arrested in the Caribbean for Using Profanity

He was reportedly warned in advance to clean things up.

50 Cent's uncensored lyrics got him in a bit of a bind during a performance in St. Kitts on Satruday night. According to TMZ, the rapper was arrested for using a word that's banned in the Caribbean island: "motherf****r."

The "21 Questions" MC was apparently warned ahead of time that he was not allowed to use profanity during his performance before the 40,000 person crowd. While he allegedly agreed, his DJ didn't have a clean version of his set and when the word roared on the backing track, 50 didn't move the mic away from his mouth.

That's when things got messy. The police showed up after his set and took him to the station, where he was booked for swearing in public. While the charge is nothing major, he is still required to remain in the country until Monday so he can go to court to pay the fine.
