50 Cent Calls Usher A “King” After Learning ‘In Da Club’ Was Played During His Son’s Birth
Usher brought the club to the hospital room as he revealed on Ellen he played 50 Cent’s hit record ‘In The Club’ while his girlfriend Jen Goicoecha was in labor with their second child together, Sire Castrello Raymond, who was born on Sept. 29, 2021.
“I was in charge of music but I did a terrible job,” the singer began.
“But the second time, I came fully equipped. I had my Mophie. I had speakers. I had backup batteries. I had a whole playlist that I had worked on for about two weeks. It was crazy. It was great.”
He then continued, letting the talk show host know the song that played as [Sire] was entering the world, was “In Da Club,” before proceeding to sing the lyrics to the audience.
The Power creator caught wind of the story and responded on his Instagram with the caption “We have 2 Kings now, SIRE Jackson and SIRE Raymond. coolest s**t ever!”
