Nipsey Hussle Had Some Choice Words For Tekashi 6ix9ine In New Rick Ross Song

The track can be found on Rick Ross’ new 'Port of Miami II' album.

In the wake of Pusha T’s exclusion from Rick Ross' highly anticipated tenth album, Port of Miami II, another feature has caught fans' attention. Slauson luminary Nipsey Hussle made an appearance on the album’s eighth track, “Rich N*gga Lifestyle,” alongside G.O.O.D Music’s Teyana Taylor

  • In the four-minute song, the Victory Lap rapper sneaks in a diss at one of hip-hop’s most-controversial figures: Tekashi 6ix9ine, who infamously ignited trollish feuds with his contemporaries.

“Can’t name a fake n*gga that was not exposed / Y’all n*ggas surprised that Tekashi told?,” Nipsey caustically spits. "Ain’t a real street ni**a / ‘less you got a code.”

  • Nipsey previously discussed his stance on Tekashi earlier this year while speaking with Big Boy on Big Boy TV in early March. While Nip personally had no beef with Tekashi, he’s made it clear in interviews that he stands by street code.

The Brooklyn native, who is currently behind bars on racketeering charges, drew the scorn of the rap community after news broke that he was reportedly cooperating with authorities as an informant in exchange for a lighter sentence. Tekashi's alleged snitching didn't sit right with many who grew up in the streets.

  • Prior to Tekashi’s arrest, Nipsey dished to Big Boy that he felt Tekashi was a fraud not worth the public outrage or getting into beef with.

"The public should not even react to clown s**t," Nipsey told Big Boy, according to XXL Magazine. "The public should follow the real niggas, if the real niggas ain't reacting so y'all don't react. Put the dude on goofy time and just let him sit over here doing what he doing till that s**t expire, cause it always gonna self-destruct, clearly."
