Young love: so transient, so fragile, so short. The Weeknd and Bella Hadid have gone their separate ways after a year and a half together. The couple has been jet-setting together and inciting digital jealously for a good while. Abel had Hadid star in his "In the Night" video last year and they even attended the Met Gala arm in arm. 

A source close to the couple told People Magazine that the breakup was amicable. “Their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album. They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.”

Yea, sure.

Faking friendship or not, we wish them both the best. It's always tough to see young, rich people kept apart by all the things that make them young and rich. Lucky for them, it also means that there is plenty of distraction to keep them busy through the heartbreak.
