What? Gay-Hating Twitter Trolls Accuse Issa Rae Of 'Pushing Homosexuality,' And Her Clapback Is Perfect
Issa Rae has proven time and time again that she is a voice to be reckoned with. After Insecure and The Misadventures Awkward Black Girl, she's turning her attention to the narratives of Black men by confirming that she is currently working on a show called Him Or Her, in conjunction with writer Travon Free, centered around the life of a bisexual Black man.
As expected, the homophobes and pseudo-critics flexed their Twitter fingers and got to work, expressing their "disapproval" for the project. What they didn't know, however, is that this Black girl wasn't the one that day.

After both Issa, who is helping develop the show as an executive producer, and Free, the series' creator, confirmed the news, the trolls came out in droves with the intent of attacking the award-winning actress.
One account, ironically titled "africanunification," penned a lengthy post trashing the project and claiming that "these fools y'all celebrate (celebrities) are on our enemy's payroll," before highlighting that their "promotion" of homosexuality, interracial coupling and more were a form of brainwashing viewers.
Issa, however, hit them with the perfect clapback for them to leave that negative energy in 2017.

Unfortunately, this uncultured troll isn't the only one to share this narrow-minded sentiment. A few more took to Twitter to express their unsolicited disapproval of Issa's budding project:

On a more positive note, Issa, herself, has a few words to share for those eager to see the casting choices or, ultimately, be cast themselves for the highly anticipated project:
