After the incident, the employee allegedly tried to say he accidentally made the transfer.

An AT&T worker was allegedly fired for using a customer’s phone to send himself $50 on the Cash App.

In a viral video posted to Instagram by @candycoatedgear, a woman and AT&T worker go back-and-forth over the $50 theft.

According to the woman in the video, the worker arrived at her house to install internet and WiFi. After the installation, he asked to use her phone to check the connection; however, while he was on her phone, he allegedly opened the Cash App and wired himself $50.

During the confrontation between the man and the woman, he tried to explain that he has kids and his fiancée passed away. Eventually he asked the woman, “How can we make this right?”

The woman ended up telling the man that he needed to call her husband and make it right with him since the money is coming out of his account.

According to The Shade Room, the woman said the man was fired.
