Ray J Moves on From Fabolous Incident
Ray J shocked many last week with a lengthy, bombastic and profane rant on Power 105 in which he derided Fabolous and claimed to have punched him in the face at a Las Vegas nightclub. But now that emotions have cooled and the dust has settled, the singer, reality star and brother to Brandy is trying to move on.
"You gotta grow from that," he said in a new interview with SiriusXM's Shade45 radio. "That was me letting my frustrations take over."
Since the incident, Fabolous and others have challenged some of Ray J's more outlandish claims, including that he punched the rapper and is the owner of seven Rolls Royces.
"Whatever situations happen behind closed doors [Fab and I] should have left it at that," Ray J said in hindsight. "So as a man I'm accepting my responsibilities on that end and just growing from it."
Cell phone footage of the club fight has been released, but it's not clear who swung at who. Ray J has since apologized for his now-infamous on-air tirade.
"I want to apologize to my fans that might have been offended by the things I said on the radio today. I lost control," he wrote on Twitter.
Ray J says he and Fabolous have not spoken since the incident. Read Fabolous's side of the story here.
