Here’s a Breakdown of All the Sex Happening at the Olympics to Get You Through Your Day
Every four years, different countries of the world unite to compete in the Olympic Games. During the Olympics are upsets, victories, surprises, legacies and, most importantly, lots of sex. A few years ago, athletes spilled the tea on all the sex that happens in the Olympic Village and this year in Rio is no different.
At this year’s games, Brazil’s government handed out a whopping total of 450,000 condoms to the athletes. That breaks down to roughly 42 condoms per athlete. Surely there are some that won’t need all of those — and perhaps there are some that will be collecting leftovers from their roommates (we’re looking at you Tonga flag bearer).
Now, many people often wonder why there seems to be an upswing of sex happening at the Olympics, and the answer may be simpler than you think.
Some athletes abstain from sex before competing in order to keep a build-up of certain hormones. Others may be wooed by the college campus feel of the Olympic Village. These athletes come from all over the world to live in one place that has food served in a dining hall, hang out lounges and even night clubs. That setup screams college welcome week.
Every ceremony, it seems the condom count goes up, which either means more athletes are coming to the Olympics or more athletes are celebrating their wins with a different type of physical activity. Whether it be a group session or keeping things one on one, it’s clear that the Olympics breeds a sexual atmosphere that only a mere few will get to experience in a lifetime.
Maybe one day soon a tell-all book will come out revealing the craziest hook-ups to come out of the Olympics. One can only dream…
