Tyra Banks Is Unrecognizable On First Major Magazine Cover In Years

Did she #BreakTheInternet or nah?

Tyra Banks is reminding everyone while she was heralded a supermodel with her new PAPER Magazine cover. The model-turned-entrepreneur did her part to #breaktheinternet while she posed as a ferocious feline.

  • Transitioning from a sexy catsuit to a dazzling tiger only scratched the surface of Tyra’s spread. Aside from posing for a variety of sultry shots, Tyra also spilled all of the deets on her return to her hit modeling competition, America’s Next Top Model.

  • Dishing on how social media pressure forced her to come back to the competition after relinquishing the reins to new host Rita Ora, Tyra explained, “I stepped away, but social media was calling my name in my sleep, screaming they were pissed off at me that I deserted [the show].” “I needed to bring my butt back, so I did.”

  • Realizing her importance to the ANTM brand and the effect her brief departure had on the franchise, she continued, “One thing I know is from studying business, they say your brand is not what you say it is, it’s what they say it is. I thought Top Model would be fine without me hosting, but the social media sphere let me know that was not the case.”

  • While Tyra may be thrilled to headed back to the small screen, she’s not as optimistic about returning to the runway. “That was a different phase of my career,” she said. “A fierce one, mind you, but the past. It would take a hell of a lot of convincing to get me to come out of retirement.”
