Ohio State's Braxton Miller Expected to Change Positions to Wide Receiver
Ohio State University's starting quarterback job was supposed to be a three-man race between Cardale Jones, J.T. Barrett and Braxton Miller.
Well, now it's apparently down to two. Sports Illustrated is reportng that Miller plans on starting the Buckeyes' 2015 season at H-Back, a hybrid wide receiver position.
Although Miller hasn't completely shut the door on the possibility of playing QB, he says 80 percent of his reps at training camp will be at wideout, while only 20 percent will be as a quarterback.
“For the most part, it’s going to be H-Back and punt return,” Miller told SI Thursday night. “It’s a long process to get back totally to throwing and throwing every day. This is the smarter thing for right now, God blessed me with a lot of talent and different opportunities. I’m going to have fun with that and still score a lot of touchdowns and help the team out and be dominant at that.

Miller missed the entire 2014 season due to two shoulder injuries. Moving him to receiver should put Jones as the frontrunner to be starting Ohio State quarterback this season. Jones was in the pocket when the Buckeyes won the national title this past January.
