Meet Pinky Doll: The Sensational TikTok NPC Streamer Taking the Internet by Storm
Fedha Sinon, better known as Pinky Doll, has become a digital sensation as an NPC streamer. Inspired by non-playable characters (NPCs) in video games, NPC streamers speak in an off-synced, overdubbed style or parody awkward animations. It's an entertaining way of poking fun at pre-programmed characters in video games that players usually interact with.
Sinon's streams are full of catchphrases like "Ice cream so good" and "Yes, yes, yes" in a sensual voice, and she often does random things like heating popcorn kernels with a hair straightener. She's even made fans out of Timbaland and Elon Musk.
Sinon's streams have earned her over half a million followers on TikTok, with views averaging around a million. Through TikTok's gift feature, users send sticker gifts, including hearts, ice cream cones, and the likes, that can be turned into money.
Sinon's entrance into the NPC streaming world was accidental. She was starting a live stream when her audio started bugging out. Some viewers commented that she looked like an NPC, and she decided to run with it.
"I was like, oh okay, I'm going to do that now," she told BET.com. "That's what they want to see, so I'm going to give it to them."
Sinon's streams have been very lucrative. She can earn up to $3,000 per stream on TikTok, reaching up to $7,000 per day when you add in other platforms like Instagram and OnlyFans.
Sinon says that she doesn't really prepare for her streams. She goes with the flow and has fun interacting with her viewers.
"I just go with the flow when it comes to my streams," she said.
Sinon's newfound internet fame has come with some challenges. Some of her followers have harassed her, but she doesn't let that get to her.
"Some people send me weird stuff and people can be really mean to me," she said. "They'll threaten to shut down all my stuff or threaten to kick off my kids and mother. I don't care though. I'm really winning and making money for myself and my family."
