Being Black, no matter how rich you are, will get you placed in handcuffs (or killed) by law enforcement much faster than anyone from a different racial background.

That’s certainly the case with Dr. Dre. Earlier this week, a motorist accused the Compton superproducer and rapper of pulling a gun on him after Dre requested that he move from in front of Dre's driveway at his home in Malibu. This led to the motorist performing a citizen’s arrest, which led to Dre being placed in cuffs and the search for a gun, which didn’t exist.

The L.A. County District Attorney who would be handling any prosecution of this case has reportedly not decided to press charges. TMZ is reporting that the D.A. cited “insufficient evidence” as the reason why they’re not moving forward with the case.

According to a Dre source, the hip-hop legend was not the “least bit surprised” that nothing came of the charges against him and said the whole case was “ridiculous.” At least this D.A. spotted the jig. Not everyone is so lucky.
