During the first and only 2020 Vice Presidential debate on Wednesday (Oct. 7) between California Senator and Democratic VP candidate Kamala Harris and Republican Vice President Mike Pence, a number of gut-punching topics and responses shook the internet.

Harris and Pence were quizzed on everything from talking about President Trump’s mishandling of the administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic to the lapsing economy. The country’s civil unrest, relationship with China and the future dealings of climate control were also tackled as moderator Susan Page of USA Today tried to keep both candidates on topic. But, there was one special uninvited guest that overstayed their welcome for a whopping two minutes and three seconds that ultimately stole the show from both candidates.

Successfully destroying Pence’s chances of coming on top, a fly quietly landed in his silver tresses and sat perfectly atop the vice president’s head, either dropping off some intel or confirming the claim that many have made on social media inferring that the VP is indeed -- trash.
