Lil Za Gets Probation in Drug Case

20-year-old strikes plea deal, must complete 20 hours of community service and a drug treatment program.

Lil Za's felony drug possession case will be knocked down to a misdemeanor so long as he stays out of trouble, TMZ reports.

Za pleaded no contest to two felony counts Wednesday (April 30), stemming from an incident at Justin Bieber's mansion at the top of the year. In exchange, he was given three years' probation, 20 hours of community service and ordered to complete a drug treatment program.

He also pleaded no contest to misdemeanor vandalism for breaking a phone while in custody. He was fined $1,000 plus an additional $600 for the broken phone.

The 20-year-old, whose real name is Xavier Smith, was arrested on live television as nearly a dozen cops raided Bieber's former estate in Calabasas, Calif., in January. Authorities were on hand to collect evidence in an egging incident involving Bieber. Police found ecstasy and oxycodone at the residence, which they determined belong to Za.

According to a probation report, the aspiring rapper said he used drugs to "satisfy the young girls he is around."

The district attorney's office has not yet made a decision on the Bieber felony vandalism case that led to the Za bust. The pop star is said to be eyeing a plea deal as well.
