Kim Kardashian Is Having Serious Pregnancy Complications

The reality star is struggling with baby number two.

Kim Kardashian is having complications with her second pregnancy. The reality star revealed that her baby boy isn't in the correct position for a natural birth, and a C-section is an option she was hoping to avoid.

"My latest concern is that my baby is breech, meaning he's in the wrong position for childbirth," she wrote in a blog post titled Heads Up! "His head is still up and it's supposed to be down. He was supposed to turn by 32 weeks. So now, I will have to get a C-section. Or so I thought."

While the C-section may be the healthiest way to deliver the baby, Kim says she may choose to go the natural route anyway, thanks to research and her trusty doctor. "As I lay awake late at night, researching, I've learned that you actually can deliver a breech baby and I feel fortunate that my doctor, Paul Crane, is one of the few doctors that still does this," she said. "They just don't even teach it anymore."

Though her doctor is able to carry out the rare task, Kim says she's still trying her best to get the baby to switch positions. From "lying upside down three times a day for 15 minutes," to icing her belly in certain spots, she's tried it all.

During this frustrating time, Kim says she's been looking to the experienced moms in her famous family for moral support, but they haven't been much help. "It's been hard because I usually go to my mom or Kourtney for baby and pregnancy advice, but they both — with nine total pregnancies! — have never experienced one of these crazy things," she wrote.

At the end of the day, Kim says she will do whatever it takes to ensure her son's safety, and if welcoming him to the world via C-section does that, that's what she will do.
