Tamar Braxton Goes M.I.A. on L.A. Pride Festival
Tamar Braxton just bailed on very important part of her fan base. The singer has mysteriously dropped out of her performance at L.A. Pride, one of the nation's biggest LGBT Pride events of the year, TMZ reports.
The singer and talk show host was one of the first artists confirmed for Pride's 45th anniversary event, organizer Jeff Consoletti says, but hasn't been returning calls or emails since she committed to participating. Consoletti adds that he had no choice but to declare her appearance cancelled. At this time, looks like L.A. Pride will skip the customary lawsuit that is usually filed when a headliner bails on a show for no reason, since Braxton didn't collect her advance.
Still, this isn't a good look for a performer who has clearly been trying to court an LGBT fan base. Bad move, diva.
Rapper Angel Haze and pop artist Ivy Levan have been tapped to replace Braxton.
