Soulja Boy Apologizes to Fans for Arrest
In the half a day that Soulja Boy spent behind bars on Tuesday (October 18), he gained a newfound respect for his fans.
The “Crank That” rapper took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support throughout his ordeal and apologize for getting into the mess.
“thank you and I’m sorry,” he tweeted. “love you forever, seeing your letters and you standing outside that jail made me feel the love. My fans r the best.”
Apparently Soulja’s fans were so supportive, they staged a mini-gathering outside the jail in Temple, Georgia.
“aye can I have a real n---- moment? My fans was DEEP AS F--- OUTSIDE THAT JAIL Man IM Sorry!!! That’s love!!!!!!,” Soulja tweetd.
As a result of being arrested and charged with drug and gun possession, SB missed out on several previously scheduled engagements. He was apologetic for that, as well.
“I missed 10 interviews today for my new movie! To those companies I’m sorry! You can see I has lil situation. The show must go on,” he wrote.
The 21-year-old rapper and the four members of his entourage who were arrested with him have all posted bail and are awaiting a date for preliminary hearings.
