New Orleans Running Back Alvin Kamara Arrested On Battery Charge
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was reportedly arrested on a battery charge on Sunday (February 6) in Las Vegas after being accused of injuring someone at a nightclub on the eve of the Pro Bowl.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, according to ESPN, said they were dispatched at around 5:50 p.m. local time on Saturday to a hospital where a person had reported a battery at a nightclub. They pointed at Kamara as the one responsible.

Kamara was taken into custody without incident after participating in the Pro Bowl. He was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of battery resulting in substantial bodily harm, according to ESPN.
Kamara was subsequently released from custody after posting bond and has a March 8 court date. He faces a sentence of one to five years in prison if convicted of the battery charge.
Alvin Kamara was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl after another stellar season for the Saints. He compiled 1,337 yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns.
