Suge Knight Doesn't Get His Bail Reduced After Pleading Not Guilty

It's still set at $10 million.

Suge Knight’s request to reduce his bail from $10 million to $5 million was denied when he returned to court Thursday.

The Death Row co-founder faces murder and attempted murder charges in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Compton, Calif. He is accused of running over two men in front of Tam’s Burger, killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle "Bone" Sloan. The 50-year-old rap mogul claims it was an act of self-defense.

Knight has been hospitalized throughout his trial process, ranging from an undisclosed medical emergency to issues with his eyesight.

Originally, Knight's bail was set at $25 million. His trial is scheduled to begin on July 7.
