Cam’ron Reveals Ma$e Finally Got His Publishing Returned From Diddy
The decades-long standstill between Ma$e and Diddy over the former’s music publishing has finally been resolved, according to Cam’ron.
On Wednesday, the Dipset rapper took to his Instagram to congratulate his It Is What It Is co-host on retaining ownership of his publishing.
“My n***a murder had to sit this one out. He just got his publishing back from Puff. Just finished the paper work for that yesterday,” he captioned a post featuring a video promoting his new mixtape, The Lost Files. “Congrats @rsvpmase while he getting his music back in order, I’m dumping my hard drive pause. The lost files vol 1. Sept 8.”
Additionally, Cam shared a snippet of a new song from the project, which has him touting the success of his and Ma$e’s sports debate show over a beat similar to what would drop via The Diplomats during the mid-2000s.

Ma$e has been vocal for years about his issues with the Bad Boy Records founder, who signed him to a deal during the late ‘90s. Their dispute over the Harlem World rapper’s music ownership came to a head in 2020 after Ma$e put Diddy on blast via social media.
In the Instagram post, Murda Mase claimed his former label boss took advantage of him by giving him just $20,000 for his publishing rights when he joined Bad Boy and later turned down his $2 million offer to buy back his catalog.
