‘L&HH’ Star Lyrica Anderson And A1 Bentley Call It Quits
Love & Hip Hop’s Lyrica Anderson is calling it quits on her marriage to A1 Bentley, according to TMZ.
The 33-year-old star filed the paperwork on Friday (January 7) after five years of marriage. They have a son Ocean Zion Bentley, who is now 3.
Lyrica and Bently, 34, have appeared on L&HH: Hollywood since its third season in 2016. Lyrica was bumped up from supporting to a main cast member in season 4 while A1 was similarly promoted prior to season 5.
During their marriage there were bumps in the road, particularly in 2018, when the singer was accused of having an affair with Safaree Samuels. In season 6 of L&HH, it was revealed that A1 had an affair with a woman named Summer Bunni, which prompted a 2019 split.
In 2020, the couple discussed their relationship issues on The Conversation with A1 claiming that Lyrica couldn’t get over his cheating. “I did you wrong, made a mistake, cheated, you couldn’t get over it,” Bentley said to his wife. “When someone makes a mistake, you’re just done? Because if that’s the case you can be single for forever.
Lyrica responded: “I just have a really hard time being with someone that I don’t think it going to be completely faithful. We haven’t officially got divorced. I don’t really know what’s gonna end up happening. For now, there’s a lot of co-parenting going on, of course, we have Ocean. He is the first priority and it’s not about us right now. It’s about him, he’s 1, he’s innocent and it’s fair to just be the best mom and dad.”
Lyrica would end up giving A1 another shot at their marriage in L&HH season 6.
