D.C. sniper John Allen Muhammad arrested.
John Allen Muhammad, who masterminded sniper attacks in Washington D.C. that lasted three weeks and left 10 people dead, was arrested with his 17-year-old accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, while they slept at a Maryland rest top. Muhammad would be executed for his crimes in 2009.
