Wendy Williams Show Gets New Studio and Set Upgrade
How you doin'? If you’re talk show host Wendy Williams, who's gearing up for a new season, you’re better than ever.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, season four of The Wendy Williams Show will be shot in a new studio, feature an enhanced set and will be filmed in high definition. Audiences who tune in regularly to the daytime talker will notice the show revamp extends to the program as well. Williams’s popular “Hot Topics” segment will be expanded to nearly twenty minutes a day.
To help promote the new season, Williams recently shot outdoor promos in New York City’s Times Square and Columbus Circle, which feature her sitting on the signature purple couch from her set.
Williams promises the new changes don’t end there. Thanks to her viewer feedback, she’ll be wearing “more pencil skirts" and "a few more pairs of blue jeans.” And apparently they’ll be a lot less of Wendy to love. “I’m 10 pounds thinner,” Williams told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve been going to the gym.”
