Jay Z Debuts Music Video for ‘Glory’ on TIDAL
Beyoncé debuted "Die for You," Rihanna dropped "American Oxygen" and now Jay Z has released the new music video for his Blue Ivy ode "Glory" exclusively on TIDAL.
The track, produced by the Neptunes, features Bey and Jay's baby girl and was released just two days after her birth in 2012. Three years after its official release, Jigga premieres the visual for the live orchestral rehearsal version of the track.
In the sentimentally raw clip, the hip hop mogul's rehearsal sessions for his 2012 benefit shows at Carnegie Hall for the Shawn Carter Foundation are combined. The most heartwarming part of the video, however, is when the proud dad pulls out his cell phone to show off photos of his "greatest creation" to some of his famous friends. including Nas, Alicia Keys and Bridget Kelly.
Though neither Beyoncé nor Blue Ivy make cameos in the clip, several other big names can be seen, including Questlove and Liza Minnelli.
Blue Ivy became the youngest person in history to chart on a Billboard chart ever as her cries heard at the end of the track are credited.
