Drake Spotted Crying During Kanye’s Performance At Larry Hoover Concert
Earlier this month, Kanye West and Drake united for the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum. And while many fans were understandably emotional about the wide array of hits ‘Ye performed combined with the impressive production of the event, it may be a surprise to some that even the 6 God himself teared up.
Footage of Drake vibing to Yeezy’s rendition of “Find My Love” off stage has already surfaced, and now, a clip from Kerwin Frost’s newly-released recap of the Larry Hoover concert shows Drake in his feelings while watching West perform “Runaway.”
The video shows a camera zooming in on the Certified Lover Boy who tears up as Kanye delivers a heartfelt rendition of the hit whose lyrics were remixed to address his soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
“I need you to run right back to me,” Kanye sang, before adding, “More specifically… Kimberly.”
Kanye, along with many members of the Chicago community, have been calling for the release of Larry Hoover, the former head of the Gangster Disciples who has been imprisoned for nearly 50 years. According to an event description, the concert’s goal was to “raise awareness and support for Larry Hoover and the cause of prison and sentencing reform.”
