Sherri Shepherd Says Her Son Prefers To Date White Girls For This Insane Reason
Sherri Shepherd is making headlines surrounding her recent comments about her son, who she says prefers befriending white girls because black girls are “mean.”
During an interview with The Breakfast Club, the comedian explained the context of her comments about Jeffrey Charles Tarpley, her 13-year-old son.
“I am going through this thing, he likes these girls and … there’s not that many little Black girls in his school … ’cause he came in and he said, ‘Mommy, I like white girls’ … The little Black girls get mean with him,” she said. “Like, sometimes they don’t wanna speak. Sometimes they act crazy. And he’s like, ‘Why they act so crazy?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know. So I keep trying to tell the little girls to be nicer so he can come towards you. But the other girls see him and they go, ‘Hey, Jeffery’ and they wanna feel his hair.”
This prompted Charlamagne Tha God to suggest that Jeffrey be surrounded by “other strong, male figures” while Angela Yee said her son should be surrounded by “more kids that look like him.”
While most found her comments disturbing for the damaging racial component, others wondered why she put her son’s business out there in the first place.

Also during the interview, Shepherd spoke about not trusting God, still paying child support, and meeting Janet Jackson.
