Jill Scott Announces Dates For Rescheduled ‘Who Is Jill Scott?’ Anniversary Tour
Jill Scott was celebrating the 20th anniversary of her album Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds, Vol. 1 while touring in early 2020. Then, like pretty much everything else in the world at the time, it shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Not to worry though, Scott is now announcing the rescheduled dates for the rest of her celebration. The 23rd anniversary tour of her 2000 debut LP is slated to kick off February 28 in Augusta, Georgia. It will then travel through Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Nashville, Memphis, Atlanta, and more, before wrapping up in June in Los Angeles.
“My band and I were so excited three years ago, but that damn COVID shut us down,” Scott said in a press release, noting that she’ll be performing her landmark LP front to back. “Now, we outside! Come see me. Come feel again. Relive your favorite moments. Y’all ready to settle down and get with this?!? It's a lot of love here.”
