Here’s How Jim Jones Feels About Kanye West Using His Name at the Hospital
Anyone who might have the privilege of having their name impersonated by the Kanye West might take honor over offense. That is, unless he used for an emergency hospital visit due to a psychosis diagnosis.
Harlem’s Dipset flagbearer Jim Jones was lucky enough for such a privilege and he hasn’t taken very kindly to it. In a nearly two-minute long video, Jones goes through a number of emotions to express how hilarious, yet disappointing, he found West’s name-impersonation.
“I think it’s the best catfish ever,” Jones laughs in the beginning of the video. “He might have caught a charge — somebody should have locked his a** up for impersonating a gangsta.”
As reported by TMZ, the doctor assigned to Mr. West gave the description of a “5-foot-8, 175 pounds” with the name of “Jim Jones” when the emergency call came in. Despite Yeezy’s struggles through a “temporary psychosis brought on by sleep deprivation,” Jones still couldn’t quite grasp the idea of his name being used during such an intense situation.
The “We Fly High” rapper said it was “f**ked up” that West would use his name in such a crazy manner. And for such a move that could have landed Jones in trouble had it gotten out, he should charge Ye a “sucker fee." Though he claims it didn’t hurt him, he would have appreciated at least a phone call from West.
“I didn’t know you wanted to trade lives,” he says. “I wouldn’t want to be you anyway, not in my worst nightmare.”
