Pure Filth: Twitter Dragged Ryan Seacrest And E! To Hell For Interrupting Tarana Burke
The 75th annual Golden Globe Awards served as a moment of protest for those who sought to support the victims fo sexual harrassment across industry lines. This was cleverly executed with the respective birth and continuation of the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements.
While many of the night's guests, ranging from activists to nominees, took the moment on the red carpet to shed light on the cause, some of their messages weren't ideally translated due to what many are deeming the inconsideration of interviewer Ryan Seacrest.

Serving as one of the main hosts of E!'s red carpet coverage of the night, Seacrest, who has also been accused of sexual harrassment a couple of months ago — a claim which he has since denied — was the main go-to station for guests to share their words with viewers.
However, those watching the broadcast pointed out that the on-air personality often interrupted several women as they sought to speak out about the Time's Up and #MeToo movements.
Enraged at his mansplaining and seemginly passive aggressive arrogance, some viewers took to Twitter to express their disgust with his approach.

The fault seemingly also extends to the wider E! network as a New York Times writer posted a video of the network minimizing the screen to show red carpet looks almost immedaitely after #MeToo founder Tarana Burke began speaking.
