There was an unexpected turn of events at the Staples Center recently, after a terroristic threat was made exactly one minute before tip off at a Lakers/Clippers game.

According to TMZ, someone anonymously called to say that terrorists were in the crowd strapped with bombs and guns, with the ultimate mission to kill in the name of Jihad.

The site obtained an LAPD search warrant logging an eerie phone call received by an LAPD officer at 7:29 pm. on January 29, 2016. The warrant stated a "robotic voice" said, "Several people in the crowd seated strategically have explosives strapped to their chest and explosives in their shoes."

In a more graphic description, the voice continued, "Some of them are also strapped with Glock 18, have guns and will shoot any patron that may come in their path. We are doing this for Allah and for Jihad. We are going to slaughter the patrons of tonight's Lakers/Clippers game and there is no one that can stop us."

That wasn't all. The caller went on to explain that there were allegedly hostages involved: "We have people hostage in some of the bathrooms already and we shot one in the knee cap. You are all going to f****n' die tonight, you filthy Americans."

Police believe the call originated from a Skype line, with the culprit using a robotic voice to protect his/her identity. The police obtained a serach warrant to force Skype to divulge the account information in connection to the mysterious number.

The LAPD is still investigating the threat. No suspects have been found.
