Maxine Waters Will Not Be Intimidated by Bill O'Reilly or the Fox News Anchor Who Once Told Her to 'Step Away From the Crack Pipe'
Many are disgusted by the racist and sexist comments hurled at the congresswoman.
On Tuesday morning, Bill O’Reilly made an extremely racist and sexist comment about California Representative Maxine Waters’s hair
After receiving well deserved backlash from the public, O’Reilly issued an official apology
"As I have said many times, I respect Congresswoman Maxine Waters for being sincere in her beliefs. I said that again today on Fox & Friends, calling her 'old school.' Unfortunately, I also made a jest about her hair which was dumb. I apologize,” said Bill O'Reilly in a statement sent to BET News.
However, during an appearance on 'All in With Chris Hayes,' Rep. Waters did not seem affected by O’Reilly’s comments or his halfhearted apology
As a strong Black woman who has always voiced her opinions, Rep. Waters has been subjected to racism and sexism at the hands of Conservative dissenters.
